Are you ready to run the Summit? This challenging tree lined 5k course winds it’s way through the borough of Jenkintown without crossing Old York Rd. Jenkintown residents come out to cheer on our runners on. The race starts and ends on Leedom St by the Jenkintown Borough Town Square. Feel free to try out the course prior to the Sunset 5K Run.

Alessandro Reale, a resident of Glenside and a 2007 graduate of Abington Senior High School, is an award-winning children’s and fantasy author with ten titles to his name.
“The children’s books are about coping with mistakes, being kind to others, ignoring bullies, understanding anxiety and depression, and other topics that I wish I had access to when I was a kid,” he said. “I try to put them in a message that children can understand.”

Storybook Musical Theatre is dedicated to the cultural enrichment and education of children and their families. We will introduce and help them to develop a lifelong appreciation for theater through adaptations of folk tales and children's literature. We strive to stimulate young imaginations as the stories are being brought to life on stage.
