The Kiwanis Club of Jenkintown is proud to present:
The 46th Annual Special Athlete Basketball Tournament
The tournament is set for Saturday March 21, 9AM-4PM.
This remarkable event brings together approximately 19 teams, whose members are athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities from the tri-county area, ranging in age from 8 to 70. It provides them the opportunity to compete, build team spirit, and experience the joy of basketball in a supportive and inclusive environment. Hatboro Horsham HS has hosted our tournament for several years and we will return to this amazing school on March 8, 2025 to celebrate our 45th annual Kiwanis Special Athlete Basketball Tournament. We would love to have you be a part of our event.
Our tournament is not just about the game—it’s about fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and pride. Over 150 volunteers from local middle schools, high schools, colleges, and the broader community join us, along with dedicated referees who donate their time to ensure the event’s success. We also provide a full day of experiences at no cost to participants, family and volunteers, including meals, drinks, snacks, and awards such as medals and trophies for every athlete.
With your tax-deductible gift you will be able to have your business or organization recognized as a Jenkintown and Kiwanis supporter. In return, you will be promoting your business to thousands of households by associating with this fun and health-promoting event. Jenkintown Kiwanis Foundation (501c3) Tax ID # 23-6266238
